Delete your Band Companion account.

You can request deletion of your Band Companion account and its associated data from a browser, even if the mobile app is no longer installed.

Request account deletion online

1. Open the secure Band Companion web app using the button above.
2. Sign in with the same email, Apple, or Google account you use for Band Companion.
3. In Settings, find the Account section.
4. Select Delete my data and confirm the deletion request.

You do not need to reinstall the mobile app. If you cannot sign in, email contact@bandcompanion.app from the address associated with your account. We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request.

Waiting period

Account deletion is scheduled after a seven-day waiting period. During those seven days, you can return to Settings and cancel the request. Once processing has begun, deletion cannot be undone.

What is deleted

When the request is completed, Band Companion removes account-associated data including:

• Your Band Companion profile and account preferences.
• Your band membership links and pending band applications.
• Your notification preferences, in-app notifications, and registered push tokens.
• Your account-specific subscription status stored by Band Companion.
• Bands and their content when you are their only active member and owner.

What may be kept

• A band you own cannot be deleted while it has other active members. Transfer ownership or remove those members before requesting account deletion.
• Content in bands that continue to have active members may remain available to that band. You can remove individual content beforehand when your band permissions allow it.
• A limited deletion-workflow record may be retained for up to 30 days after a request is completed or cancelled, then removed.
• Apple, Google, and payment providers may retain transaction records for accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations under their own policies.

Delete data without deleting your account

You can delete individual songs, setlists, events, notes, backing tracks, and bands from their relevant screens in Band Companion. Shared content can only be removed when your role and the band’s ownership rules permit it. Some shared deletions use a seven-day recovery period before permanent cleanup.
