No note appears
Allow microphone access when Tuner asks for it. If access was denied, use the button in the app or your device's settings to enable it. Play one sustained note close to the microphone, in a quiet space. Phone and tablet simulators may not capture an instrument reliably; test with a physical device.
The note jumps around
Let one string ring clearly and damp the others. Background noise, overlapping notes and a weak signal can make pitch detection unstable. If you use a tuning preset, choose the string you are tuning; Tuner then compares the sound with that exact note and octave.
Saved tunings
Custom tunings and your preset order live on this device. They are not tied to a Tuner account or synced between devices. Deleting the app or clearing its data may remove them.
